2020 Audi A3; Redesign, Concept, Platform, Specs & Release Date
Here is The New Updates of 2020 Audi A3 Rumors. The fifth generation of the compact Audi A3 sedan is under development: this is what we know about you.
The road tests of the 2020 Audi A3, which the Autocar weekly surprised with the definitive bodywork, immediately got underway. This means that development tests are well underway, considering the 2020 Audi A3 is expected to reach the market in the second half of 2019. From a technical point of view, it should be an evolution of today’s, given the use of the same platform (the MQB), the same of all the compact cars of the Volkswagen group. Even the engines will most likely be the same petrol and diesel, with 3 or 4 cylinders, starting from the small 1.0 TFSI, but those looking for performance can rely on the gritty versions S3 and RS3, both with some more horsepower than today (they have 310 and 400). The novelty should be the presence of several hybrid versions: the basic ones equipped with the same micro-hybrid system that we will see on the VW Golf ( here to learn more) and there should also be a full-hybrid with rechargeable batteries.
2020 Audi A3 Redesign
The main differences compared to the Audi A3current for sale will be found Exterior, where the fifth generation will have a look apparently more muscular and gritty, while maintaining similar dimensions to today’s model: the length should in fact remain in the order of 430 cm, similar to rivals BMW Series 1 and Mercedes Classe A. In spite of the camouflage it can be seen that the 2020 Audi A3 will have a large front bezel, headlights that extend downward in a sort of inverted “L” and a less angular rear with thin headlights that “point” towards the plate housing. The model photographed should be the sporty Audi S3, as you notice the increased rims, but the more “energetic” look will make even the versions with less powerful engines look compelling.
New Audi A3 almost certainly will say goodbye to the version with the three-door body, but in the following months will come two other versions: the classic four-door sedan with the tail (the Sedan) and a five-door sedan with the fastback style fast tail and the tailgate, which should take the name Sportback . The cabriolet will also arrive.
