2020 BMW Z4 Roadster, Specs, Pictures & Release Date
A few days before the debut here are the first images of the 2020 BMW Z4: aggressive line and return to the canvas roof for the German spider.
2020 BMW Z4 Roadster Changes
The first spy images without more camouflage of the new BMW Z4, the spider with the canvas roof, now in its third generation, which should begin on August 23 at the Concorso d’Eleganza Pebble Beach, California, where new models, style proposals, and collector cars will be shown. The images have been published on the SupraMVK.com forum and show where the BMW designers took part, who took inspiration from the Z4 Concept prototype of 2017 and updated some details of the bodywork. For example, the front bonnet is no longer scratched by two large air intakes, the fascia has a less elaborate design and the headlights of the BMW Z4 2018 are larger than the prototype.
Engine Specs of 2020 BMW Z4
Looking at the BMW Z4 on the side, you notice that the windscreen is less inclined and that there are no longer the two “humps” behind the headrests, but more generally it has the impression that the shape is less slender compared to the style proposal. Behind the lights also change: they always remain in the shape of a boomerang, but they are not thinner and tapered like on the Z4 Concept. The third edition of the BMW Z4 should be about 435 cm long and will have the fabric hood, so it should be lighter than the previous generation (where the hood was made of metal), while the new flatbed is the result of a joint project between BMW and Toyota : the two manufacturers have developed a platform with front engine and rear-wheel drive to be used on the Z4 and the Toyota Supra, also expected in 2018. The engines will be the four-cylinder petrol 2.0 and six-cylinder 3.0, with powers up to about 365 Horsepower.
