2020 Kia Proceed Release Date
The presentation of the new Kia Proceed, the station based on the compact Ceed sedan, rival of the Opel Astra Sports Tourer, Hyundai i30 SW and Peugeot 308 SW is set for Thursday, September 13th. In view of the debut, the Kia has released the first image of anticipation of the car, which will have a look inspired by the prototype of the same name of 2017 ( here to learn more). We must, therefore, expect a wagon rather slender and modern look, thanks to the particulars of the rear lights joined by a strip of LED (absent on the five doors) and the small aileron on the roof, which will give momentum to the side view. The Kia Proceed 2018 will then be exhibited at the Paris Motor Show, scheduled for October 2nd.
Engine Specs – Hybrid
The 2020 Kia Proceed should measure in length about 460 cm, enough to get a generous trunk without making the car awkward in the city: the trunk should go from 528 to nearly 630 liters. The engines are the same as the five-door Kia Ceed, which is the 1.4-liter petrol of 100 hp and 140-hp turbo and the 1.6-horsepower diesel of 115 hp or 136 hp. Optional automatic seven-speed dual clutch transmission.
The hybrid version of ” mild ” should follow”, A system composed of an electronic control unit, an additional lithium ion be lithium-unable of” storing “0.46 kWh) and the engine-generator, which replaces the starter motor and the alternator and performs the functions of “handyman”: recharges the battery in slowdowns, helps the diesel engine in the starts (develops about 14 HP of power) and restarts the diesel engine in the queue, at the traffic light or when the car “sails”, ie travels by inertia with the main engine off.
