The All New 2020 Mercedes GLE, which we will see in October, will be longer than 8 cm (493 in all) and will have a refined but not distorted style.
The development tests of the 2020 Mercedes GLE , the big SUV known until 2015 with the name Class M (and before that ML), will be presented at the end of the year, which will be presented by the end of the year in a completely new form. With the approach of the debut, Carscoops has published new spy photos where camouflages are limited to the front to the tail, so you can see how the car will be. From them it is noted that the new SUV will have a wider grid than the current one, headlights drop-shaped and rear lights very thin, plus a style detail that is found since the first ML (on sale since 1997): the rear pillar of the advanced roof, which made it possible to obtain a side glass contiguous to the rear window.
2020 Mercedes GLE Redesign & Changes
The designers of the German company have revised the line of the new generation of the Mercedes GLE that now appears smoother on the surfaces, but also more muscular. The spy photos of the Mercedes Fans site ( below ) reveal for the first time even the interiors, where instead of the traditional instruments with the hands will be present the two side-by-side screens, each of them up to 12.3 “already seen on all the most Mercedes recent. On the central tunnel, there are also two large handles, which in the off-road vehicles serve passengers to stay in the most challenging sections and here also have a rather marked aesthetic function.
Mercedes GLE 2018will debut at the Paris Motor Show (October 2018) and should “grow” in length up to 493 cm (+ 8 cm), but on more expensive versions the increase in external dimensions should not affect the manageability: for a fee you can, in fact, have active stabilizer bars, which allow the SUV not to “lie down” too much in the corners. The optional front camera will also be available to “read” in advance the road pits, already planned on the Mercedes S-Class flagship. According to the latest rumors, the engines should be the 3.0 367 hp petrol of the 2020 Mercedes GLE 450 and the 3.0 diesel from 286 hp and 340 hp of the GLE 350d and GLE 400d, in addition to the 3.0 petrol GLE 53 AMG (from 435 hp) and the bad V8 4.0 612 hp of the 63 AMG. On the petrol of the 450 and 53 AMG, the micro-hybrid system with an alternator will be provided, capable of delivering 22 hp to improve thrust at low speeds. From the GLE will be derived the Mercedes GLE Coupé, a rival of the BMW X6.
