2020 Skoda Vision RS: Specs, Platform, Release Date
The designs released by Skoda anticipate the 2020 Skoda Vision RS concept which in turn anticipates the next generation of Skoda Rapid.
Skoda has released the concept car drawings that will unveil at the next Paris Motor Show, scheduled for the beginning of October. It is called Skoda Vision RS and anticipates the appearance and setting of the future Skoda Rapid, which will evolve becoming a compact rival sedan of the Volkswagen Golf. Even if we evaluate the drawings we understand that the concept car has a style in line with the latest creations of the Czech house, well proportioned and characterized by taut lines and sharp edges.
The headlights have a wedge shape and converge towards a three-dimensional mask that protrudes from the snout. All this gives the front a balanced but gritty image. Remarkable originality in the sides, where there is a luminous element that covers the entire front door and part of the back, with a continuation also towards the muzzle. An unprecedented solution that will be interesting to see “from the truth” on the car.
2020 Skoda Vision RS Platform
For what concerns the dimensions, the 2020 Skoda Vision RS It is 436 cm long, 181 cm wide and 143 cm high, with a wheelbase of 265 cm: we are therefore in full “territory” Volkswagen Golf and Seat Leon, further confirmation of the location of the production car. In fact, the future Skoda Rapid should adopt the same platform MQB of the rivals mentioned, although probably in its version A0.
