Mercedes SLC Final Edition | The end of production of the Mercedes SLC is approaching and the special edition Final Edition reminiscent of the farewell in color to the first SLK.
When the production of the SLC ends at the Mercedes plant in Bremen is not yet clear. Probably it will be ready in early 2020. At the end of the series, there is a special model, which in color reminds of the first SLK: The series was presented in 1996 in the launch color Yellowstone. Concept and color were bold for the brand. The customers ordered fast, plentiful and mostly in silver. Two model changes followed, since the facelift 2016, the SLK is now called SLC.
Mercedes SLC Final Edition with AMG Line and standard extras
The special model Final Edition can be ordered from February 22, 2019, it comes in March to the dealers. It is available in sun yellow, white, gray and black. Prices start at 41,537 euros for the SLC 180. The special model is based on the AMG Line, so has 18-inch wheels, bumpers in AMG design, a sports suspension with 10 mm lowering and a larger brake system with perforated brake discs. The bumpers on the dark paintwork have ornamental rods in silver chrome. In yellow and white vehicles, the decorative rods are black – as are the door handles, exterior mirror caps, and rear braces. Under the chrome, fins sits a “Final Edition” badge on the front fenders.

The leather seats are standard heated and electrically adjustable. Airscarf is standard. Headrests, selector lever and part of the steering wheel are covered with carbon leather. The seats are gray-black upholstery. Their decorative seams are as gray as the seat belts. In addition, the SLC 43 has a gray 12 o’clock mark in the steering wheel rim and an additional “AMG Edition” badge in the steering wheel clasp. The top model with 390-hp Biturbo V6 costs 65,045 euros.
